It's Finished!.....Ya Right.........

All these little pieces needed to be made up because I'm really lousy at making extra moulding.

Today I rehung the doors now that they have glass in them, I know it's hard to tell but it's an artique glass that Bic cut to fit. All those little, little pieces went all around the mirror edges (yes I had to move every glass and bottle) and a little baseboard around the posts.

I installed the last skeleton key locks on the doors and cut in the strike plates as Ken showed up and we started drinking......................at his bar!

OK the unfinished part, that's on Wednesday, the cabinet guys are coming back to change all the hinges to push to open hinges and install brass inserts for all the skeleton key holes. Also there is one place under the bar that has to get covered with stained wood to match the rest or the bar ( that's what I'll do while I harass the cabinet guys to do a good job). HA

holy shit you do good work but where the hell are the beer taps?

We've talked about it.....
they can screw right to the bar and that space I mentioned that's a tad unfinished is a space that will fit a couple of kegs......

If anyone earned the right to harass the cabinet guys to do a good job, it is you Mic.

That is a terrific bar and I should know, what with being an Irishman from Boston. Believe me, I've sat at quite a few but I believe I would enjoy sitting at yours. My family is also in the glass business so perhaps if you wanted some special edged or frosted glass I could personally deliver it and have a Jameson or three.

Thanks Wreggie and LuLu.....

Phfrankie: I jest.....more than likely, I'll supply the beer.

Lynn: Welcome, but no, no, no, this is not "my" bar, it's the bar I just finished building for someone else.
Pine Hill was my stomping grounds.
